Ep. 1  -  Aubrey Haddard




Born and raised in the Hudson River Valley of New York, AH now performs consistently throughout the North East. After placing second in the Hudson Valley Voice competition in 2013, and founding her stylistic “Rock & Soul” group Breakfast for the Boys, she continued her path as a richly diverse performer to the prestigious Berklee College of Music. Once relocating to Boston, Haddard was awarded ‘Massachusetts Solo Artist of the Year’ Bridging the Music Productions, and has become the front woman of the Boston-based original funk group The New Review, heralding recognition from the illustrious NPR Tiny Desk Competition stating “it sounds like she’s about to catch fire.” AH, currently joined by drummer Josh Strmic and bassist Charley Ruddell, is one of New England’s most eccentric and dynamic performers on the touring circuit. In May of 2017, the Aubrey Haddard trio began working on a full length studio album called Blue Part, a concept album steeped in the concepts of love, relationships, and passion.

Ep. 2 - Nellie Fitzgerald



Nellie Fitzgerald is a folk/psych pop artist from San Francisco, California and an alumni of Berklee College of Music. She is a vocalist and a multi-instrumentalist as well as a songwriter, composer, and producer. Nellie started her career out as a street performer in downtown San Francisco in which she performed in a spontaneous and raw form for some of the most diverse audiences in the country. She sites her street performances as a huge influence in her development as a performer and songwriter. 

        Her first solo record, “The Blue Hour” is coming out this March, on which she wrote, co-composed, and co-produced. Nellie collaborated with renowned producers Bassy Bob and Chuck Zwicky as well as 3 Production, and Alex Allison. The record ranges from contemporary folk with string quartets, flute and piano arrangements, to more synth and electric guitar heavy psychedelic pop. Nellie is currently based out of Greenpoint in Brooklyn, NY.

Ep. 3 - Zerlina Devi



"Originally from Bali, Indonesia, pianist and composer Zerlina Devi is quickly emerging as a star in the music scene today. At an early age, she started taking piano lessons as a family tradition and her father’s love of jazz led her to discover her own passion through her fondest memories of singing along to records in the car.

As Zerlina continued her musical passage, she studied with many renowned jazz musicians in Indonesia as well as at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA; where she double majored in Jazz Composition and Piano Performance. Complementing Zerlina’s already mature sound was a slew of professors such as Joanne Brackeen, Tim Ray, Dave Santoro and Greg Hopkins- mentoring and giving her a platform to share her voice. Since graduating with summa cum laude in 2015, she has had the honor to work and share the stage with George Benson, Joey DeFransesco, Tony Monaco, Maurice Brown, Aaron Goldberg, Billy Childs, Vijay Iyer and many more.


Zerlina has now released her first album consisting of her compositions as well as unique piano playing, where she had the pleasure to have Darren Barrett on her record. This episode showcases some of the songs from the album and her more recent work with Josh Shpak (tpt), Craig Hill (tnr), Christian St. Louis (bs) and Ryan Scalia (dr)"

Ep. 4 - Nick Cabrera





                Nick Cabrera is a folk/rock singer-songwriter based in Boston, MA. Nick grew up in Pawling, NY with two immigrant Colombian parents and five siblings. His passion for music and performance started young with drums and guitar. From there, he started singing in school choirs and playing in bands through high school. Nick wrote his first song at age 17 and has been striving to improve ever since - drawing lyrical inspiration from personal experience. His unique, soulful voice couples effortlessly with an acoustic rhythm section to bring his songs to life. Personal influences include Jason Mraz, Incubus, Dave Matthews Band, and many more. He continues to better his music through collaboration and experimentation.

Ep. 5 - Khalil Overton




Khalil Overton (@kho.music) is a multi talented singer/songwriter originally from Philadelphia, PA. Khalil got his start performing and touring in boys' choirs traveling to places ranging from Alaska to Australia. From there, his passion to pursue music full time led Khalil to Boston, MA where he studied at Berklee College of Music. During his time at Berklee, Khalil wrote a winning song for Berklee's perfect pitch competition and also had the opportunity to perform alongside George Clinton and the P Funk All Stars. After college, Khalil's talents led him to New York City for an extended residency at the piano bar Howl at the Moon. Khalil still continues to gig regularly and write his own music. In our conversation, we dig deep into these experiences and much more. Also, be sure to listen to the live music segment to hear Khalil perform a few of his original compositions.

Ep. 6 - Galen Fraser



Galen Fraser is an accomplished fiddle player, composer, engineer and producer from the foothills of Northern California. Best known for his modern take on celtic traditional music, he tours with the praised Galen Fraser Quartet, Soulsha, and the Europe-baised Atlantic Folk Trio.

Fraser has played with renown musicians such as Alasdair Fraser, Natalie & Brittany Haas, Martin Melendez (of the Aupa Quartet), Hanneke Cassel, and Colin Cotter. He has performed at The Mandavi Centre, The Palace of Fine Arts, Symphony Hall in Boston, Ma, with members of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and many other esteemed venues in the United States and Europe.

 With a love for improvisation and composition, Galen's passion lead him to pursue music as a career, earning his Bachelors Degree in Songwriting from Berklee College of Music. In August 2016, Galen released his debut solo album, "Mischief Managed" featuring all original fiddle music and songs with guests such as Natalie Haas, Alasdair Fraser, Jenna Moynihan and Conor Hearn.

Ep. 8 Zilla




ZILLA is a 5-piece outfit based out of Boston. Formed in the summer of 2014, the band was founded by front woman, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Meredith Snyder and powerhouse lead vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Adam Eugene Moore as a means of performing Meredith’s original music. Meredith and Adam joined forces as songwriters, and after a period of intense gigging and growth, the band emerged in its current state with a renewed energy and creativity, ready to take the world on a psychedelic love train to outer space. Alongside Meredith and Adam is their long-time band member and collaborator Tyler Last, Josh Strmic; a magician behind the drum kit, and Sally Stempler; an angelic golden blanket of soprano vocal parts.
During their time together the band has actively pioneered their own sound that emanates from a love of combining modern sensibilities, and arrangements with classic rock and soul influences. This has resulted in a totally unique sound characterized by soaring vocal harmonies, blistering guitar solos, and a deep pocket, giving birth to the term, “monster-soul.”

The band released their debut E.P. “DreamState” in May of 2016 and is currently in the midst of recording their first single.

Ep. 9 Seba Molnar


Seba Molnar is a jazz saxophonist, woodwind artist, and private instructor, based out of Boston, Massachusetts. He has been gigging on saxophone and clarinet since the age of twelve. Seba grew up in Canton, New York, where his high school band director, Tim Savage, introduced him to jazz. After getting the music bug, he attended the Berklee College of Music, majoring in saxophone performance, with a concentration in jazz. He has had the opportunity to study with world-renowned saxophonists George Garzone, Bill Pierce, and Tia Fuller.

In addition to leading his own jazz groups, Seba performs throughout Boston and New England with a variety of bands. He currently makes regular appearances with The Seba Molnar Band, The New Review, The Collective, and Java Jukebox.

Seba’s curiosity for new sounds and innovation has enabled him to create a wide array of music that transcends genre. His music, though heavily rooted in jazz, explores sounds and cultures from all around the world.

“Music speaks to the soul and brings people together affecting everyone in their own way. Music is a beacon of hope and peace in this tumultuous world.”

Ep. 10 Piano Series - Patrick Carr



Carr has played in numerous bands as a keyboardist, bassist, and guitarist since moving to Boston in 2010. June Bloom is a genre departure in addition to a change in role for Carr as sole songwriter, engineer, and producer. 2017 saw the release of “Bloomin,’” a six-song EP recorded using acoustic guitars and drum machines layered with vintage keyboards and vocal harmonies. Carr has created a sound that is reminiscent of early Pink Floyd and The Zombies yet calls upon neo-psychedelia in the vein of Animal Collective and King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard.

Ep. 11 Piano Series - Jens Sweeting




Jens Sweeting is a keyboardist from Freeport Bahamas. Inspired by great improvisers like Herbie Hancock, Keith Jarrett, Miles Davis and Robert Glasper, he moved to the US to study jazz and gain exposure in 2010. In addition to studying jazz piano at The Players School of Music in Clearwater FL, and earning a BA in Professional Music from Berklee College of Music in Boston, he has in the last ten years worked with a variety of local Boston artists such as Mighty Mystic, Selah Poitier, Melissa Bolling and James Calandrella as well as his own projects. Performing in styles from rock, funk and blues, to jazz, neo soul, rnb, gospel and reggae, he is a prolific and passionate musician in the Boston scene.

Ep. 12 Piano Series - Chris Enright




Chris "Doc" Enright is a New England native, and seasoned performer in the Boston music scene.  He's shared the stage with local artists Mike Tucker, Ronnie Earl, Sonya Rae Taylor, John Aruda, Jeff Stought, Jamie Lynn Hart, Steve Memmolo and Louie Bello.

Receiving both Bachelors and Masters degrees from Berklee College of Music and New England Conservatory, respectively, Chris' piano style developed under the tutorship of accomplished jazz musicians Danilo Perez, Joanne Brackeen, Alain Mallet, Frank Carlberg, and Hal Crook. Chris lives in Salem, Massachusetts with his fiancé and their three cats. His musical influences range from Ahmad Jamal, to Freddie King, to Radiohead.

Ep. 13 - Addy Baddy




Born in Winston-Salem, NC Singer/songwriter and producer Adam (Addy Baddy) Moore grew up in a house full of instruments with everything from Frank Sinatra to Bill Monroe being played at a reasonable volume from the boom box in the kitchen.

Drawing influence from the Traditional American art forms of Jazz, Country, Blues and Rock and Roll, Addy began writing and performing his own original songs at a very young age and continues to do so in Southern California. His debut album entitled 'Bootlegs' (named for the Lo-Fi cassette tape production) is Available now on all streaming platforms and online music stores.
